Aohong offers premium Round Laminated Elastomeric Bearing Pads, meticulously engineered for structural load transfer and movement accommodation in bridges and civil infrastructure. Designed with alternating layers of high-grade rubber and steel laminates, these pads provide a balance of rigidity and flexibility required for demanding environments. Our offerings include Natural Rubber (NR) and Chloroprene Rubber (CR) variants, with optional PTFE sliding surfaces available for enhanced seismic or thermal displacement performance.
Structure
- Rubber Layers: Composed of multiple sheets of NR or CR elastomer, vulcanized together for uniform deflection and high elasticity.
- Steel Shims: Typically 2–5 galvanized or stainless-steel plates, improving vertical load-bearing capacity and dimensional stability.
- Bonding Process: Industrial-grade adhesive and vulcanization combine rubber and steel layers into a monolithic pad.
- PTFE Option: 2 mm to 3 mm PTFE sheet laminated to the top surface in sliding pad versions, enabling low-friction lateral movement.
- Sealing & Finishes: External rubber covers resist ozone, UV light, and moisture for long-term durability.
