TDS is an acronym for the English term 'TotalDissolvedSolid', which means a total amount of dissolved solid. The main components are calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium-ion and carbonate ions, hydrocarbonates, chlorons, sulphate ionizes or nitric acid particles. So TDS accounts as test units in ppm (i.e. mg/L)., , which is defined as the conductivity value of a proportional number generally taken at around 0.7. The base temperature for TDS automatic temperature compensation will normally be 25°C and its temperature factor 2%/oC.
