Applications: Low-melting-point grades, after degreasing and refining, have a quality comparable to refined paraffin wax and are widely used in the manufacture of artisanal candles, pillar candles, and similar products; high-melting-point grades are primarily used for modification and blending rather than for candle production on their own.
Main Functions: Improves flame stability, reduces black smoke, lowers cooling shrinkage, enhances surface gloss, and helps extend burn time.
Usage Characteristics: Typically blended with natural waxes or paraffin to balance cost and performance; since pure Fischer-Tropsch wax has a high hardness, using it alone may increase brittleness.
