Plastics and Rubber Processing: This is its primary application area. In the processing of PVC pipes, profiles, films, and other products, it serves as both an internal and external lubricant, reducing adhesion between the resin and equipment and facilitating easier demolding. It also acts as a dispersant, helping to evenly distribute pigments and fillers and resulting in a smoother finished surface. In the production of color masterbatches, it similarly plays a key role in dispersion and lubrication. Additionally, it improves the processing flowability of materials such as rubber.
Paints and Inks: When added to oil-based paints, water-based coatings, and printing inks, oxidized polyethylene wax improves the product’s wear and scratch resistance and prevents coating adhesion, without affecting gloss. It is also used in road marking paints, among other applications.
Adhesives and Hot-Melt Adhesives: As a viscosity modifier, it is used to adjust the flow properties and bonding performance of hot-melt adhesives and various other adhesives.
