Key Operation & Precision Requirements (for YCZ65-250B Stator Water Pump Shaft)

• Shaft Precision Inspection: When receiving a new pump shaft, use a micrometer to check both ends of the journal; roundness and cylindricity must be controlled within 0. 01 mm for proper bearing fit. The impeller-mounted shaft section requires higher precision, with a diameter error not exceeding 0. 02 mm to avoid impeller wobble and vibration.
• Impeller Installation: Avoid forceful hammering; adopt the hot-fitting methodheat the impeller in machine oil to 80℃, fit it onto the YCZ65-250B shaft shoulder while hot, let it tighten naturally after cooling, and secure with double nuts to a torque of 25 N. m to prevent loosening.
• Mechanical Seal Installation: The sealing shaft section's surface roughness must be Ra0. 8, free from scratches and rust. Apply a thin layer of lubricating oil to the rotating and stationary ring contact surfaces; control the clearance between the shaft sleeve and YCZ65-250B at 0. 03-0. 05 mm (too loose causes wobble, too tight hinders rotation).
• Post-Assembly & Routine Inspection: After assembly, rotate the pump to ensure smooth, non-sticking rotation. After startup, measure vibration speed with a vibration meter on the pump casing (not exceeding 4. 5 mm/s). Routinely check for mechanical seal leakage; if dripping increases, inspect journal wear and impeller tightness.
