Microcrystalline wax is primarily used in industry as a thickener, modifier, protective agent, and insulating material, with its core value reflected in enhancing flexibility, weather resistance, and waterproofing. Grease thickener: With strong gel strength and good protective properties, it is used to manufacture instrument and sealing greases as well as Vaseline.
Electrical insulation: Used for capacitor paper impregnation, battery sealant, cable insulation paper impregnation, and encapsulation coating.
Paints and inks: Used in hot-melt road marking paints, paints, and inks to enhance wear resistance, waterproofing, and flexibility.
Candle modification: Adding 5%-15% can improve the toughness of paraffin, prevent brittle fracture, and endow craft candles with mirror-like luster and the ability to create complex shapes.
