Microcrystalline wax has a wide range of industrial applications. Its core value lies in thickening, modification, protection, and insulation, and it is primarily used in the following fields:
Packaging and Papermaking: As a paraffin modifier, it can improve the crystal structure, toughness, and flexural strength of paraffin, enhancing the performance of barrier coatings and heat-seal coatings for packaging paper, moisture-proof paper, and frozen food cardboard.
Precision Casting and Modeling: In casting processes, it is used as a component of wax patterns, or for the production of test ship models and mechanical prototypes. Its moderate melting point and flexibility facilitate molding and demolding.
