Fischer Tropsch wax is an alkane polymer produced from synthesis gas or natural gas via the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process. It is a fully synthetic wax characterized by a high melting point, low oil content, and good wear resistance.
Main Applications
Plastics Processing Industry: Used in injection molding, extrusion, and pelletizing; aids in filler dispersion during the production of color masterbatches and modified plastics; can be used as an external lubricant for PVC.
Hot melt adhesives and adhesives: High-melting-point Fischer-Tropsch wax improves the heat resistance and fast-drying properties of adhesives and is an ideal synthetic wax for EVA-based hot-melt adhesives.
Inks and coatings: When used as a fine powder, it enhances abrasion resistance and wrinkle resistance; in powder coatings, it acts as a lubricant, reducing screw torque.
