In plastic processing, micro-powder wax is primarily used as an internal lubricant and dispersant. It reduces melt viscosity, improves flowability, and enhances demolding properties and the surface finish of the final product.
Mechanism of Action: Due to its fine particle size, micro-powder wax disperses uniformly in the plastic melt. Its internal lubrication reduces friction between resin molecular chains, while its external lubrication partially migrates to the surface to reduce adhesion to metal equipment; certain types (also significantly improve wear resistance and anti-slip properties.
Suitable Resins: Widely used in thermoplastic resins such as PVC, PP, PE, ABS, PC, TPU, and PA, with particularly outstanding results in color masterbatches, highly filled composites, and modified engineering plastics.
