COMMON MATERIALS
- SS 304 (AISI 304): Widely used, good corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor/mild outdoor use.
- SS 316 (AISI 316): Higher corrosion resistance (molybdenum added), ideal for marine, chemical, and highly corrosive environments.
- SS 316L: Low carbon 316, better weldability and corrosion resistance in welds.
- SS 304L: Low carbon 304, reduces carbide precipitation during welding.
