Paint and Ink Industry
Slipperiness Enhancement and Scratch Resistance: When incorporated into paints and inks, it forms a uniform, fine wax film on the cured coating surface. This significantly reduces the coefficient of friction, enhancing surface smoothness, scratch resistance, and abrasion resistance. Commonly employed in high-end furniture lacquers, automotive paints, and electronic casing coatings.
Anti-adhesion: Prevents coating films from sticking together during stacking or rolling, particularly suitable for coil coatings, can coatings, and leather finishes.
Matting effect: By creating microscopic surface roughness through micro-wax particles, light scattering is induced to achieve a matt or semi-gloss finish. Used in formulating matt paints and matt inks.
Texture and tactile enhancement: Can impart distinctive surface sensations to coatings, such as silk-like or velvety textures.
